Christmas is Over!
Don't get me wrong, I do love the holidays but I'm ready to just get back to our normal schedule. Today is the last birthday of the month, Happy Birthday to my grandma. She is 89 years old. I've changed the look of my blog and added some new music. Hope you like!!!

Happy Birthday Colton
Our first born is 13 today. I can't believe it. I'm not ready for a teenager. We are having his party tonight at NeeNaw and PaPa's house. His request for his official birthday dinner is fried chicken, pinto beans, mac and cheese & a chocolate cake (doesn't matter what it looks like just as long it is a chocolate cake).

Happy Birthday Hannah
Hannah is 8 years old today. It seems like yesterday she was just a little baby and she is growing up so fast. We had the family party yesterday. She got an IPOD, a barbie horse, pjs and house shoes, money, Hannah Montana wig, bracelet and doll, and she got some really cute shoes that she thinks are dancing shoes. (Don't ask me why she just does :). She tap dances with them.) She has requested to eat at El Chico for her official birthday dinner tonight.

Happy Halloween
There were lots of spooks out last night and I captured them on film. They were scccaaarrrryyy until they got candy then they became nice again. Hannah had fun trick or treating with her cousins, Luke and Ben. Colton had fun scaring the little kids. The grown ups had fun feeding there faces.

Pecans
On Saturday, we went to Edmond to the State Cross Country Meet. Madill HS Boys and Girls both won state, yea! We got back to Lindsay around 4:30 that afternoon so we could pick up pecans. I can't believe it, but the kids said they had fun. We got just enough to keep in the freezer for pies and candies for the holidays. Now we just have to crack them, yuck!!!
Searching.
We found some!!!!

Fairytale Pumpkin
Darlene and Lloyd got to come down on Saturday. I took Darlene to our scrapbook store and next door they sell flowers and pumpkins. They had these pumpkins. We both hadn't heard or seen of them before. We both ended up buying one. Wish I could have bought more, but at $10 a pumpkin, I just couldn't. Oh well, maybe when I win the lottery. Brent, Lloyd and the kids stayed home. They watched football all day long. We had a nice visit. The kids were on fall break this past Thursday and Friday. They also have a short week this week. No school on Friday.

Boomer Sooner
We can breathe a sigh of relief in my household tonight because the Sooners beat the Texas Longhorns today. I couldn't watch the game because I get too nervous. So upstairs I went to scrapbook. I could still hear the chaos so Hannah and I went to do the grocery shopping. I couldn't even get away from it grocery shopping as Homeland had it broadcasting over their sound system. By the time we got home the end was near and we were on top. So the coast is clear until next week and it starts again. The life of a football fan.

She's A Runner
She has been working for this momment for a long time and she finally got 1st place. I know she is just 7 but she really wanted to get first. Madill High School cross country team held a meet for the little ones. Hannah won in her division with a time of 7 minutes 54 seconds. You would of thought she had won the gold medal in the Olympics the way I screamed but I couldn't help it, she has worked so hard. She runs next week in Lone Grove, OK. Cross your fingers.

Our Troops
As I drove my kids to school this morning we have to pass by our National Guard building. There the buses were lined up waiting for our local men and women to board heading for training to be sent to Iraq, again. My eyes filled with tears thinking about them and their families and how they must me thinking in the back of their minds that this might be the last time of seeing each other. It made me sick. I don't agree with this war, but I do love the troops who are fighting everyday because the powers that be have them there. All I have to say is I can't wait until 2008, I think our country needs a breath of fresh air and I am counting the days.

My First Blog
I don't know what to say, lol. I have noticed a lot of the girls on the CKMB have blogs and thought how cool; so here I am. Not that much to say for now. This is going to be a learning process for me.
