A Winning Season

Monday Night was Colton's last baseball game as a 8th grader :(. They had a great season with their regular season record at 22-6 and tourny record 2-3.

DIY Project

Brent got a wild hair up his butt about getting a part of the yard fixed that is a pain to mow. It is by our back porch and driveway. He decided to do a retaining wall and make a walkway for us.

We have a fountain ordered & I'm in search of iron thingys for hanging pots. He is also going to put lights around so we can see any pesky snakes laying around before we step on them :)

A Boy & His (Rented) Toy

So last week Brent took a couple of days off to get some things done around the house one being digging holes (30 total) for trees we had on the way. He ordered 3 trees from
Rocky Mountain Austree to plant. They are supposed to grow really fast so we shall see. He also ordered free trees from the Ardmore Beautification people. Anyway, here are some pics of Brent playing.









Without this little machine, digging holes on our land is very hard. We have that black, clayey (new word), rocky dirt.



I'll keep you posted on the growing progress of the Austrees.

We are finally getting the rest of the fence started. It looks really good. I can't wait until it's finished.

Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

I can't believe how low the pond is. In the past, I could sit on the dock & have my feet in the water. Not so much now. Anyway, Brent & I went down Wednesday night to feed the fish.







I haven't ate any catfish from this pond. I don't think I can now.

She is just a sophomore & she place 1st in the triple jump among other things. We are super proud of her. (A little side note to Shae: the boys in Hannah's class think you are hot & would like your autograph.)

Wassup?

When Brent asked if I was still blogging I knew it was time for an update. Let's see, baseball ~ that is what we have been doing for the past month. 3 more games this week if they aren't rained out and then only 2 more weeks (home games thank you very much).

Easter was low key this year. It rained but we didn't have easter until supper so it cleared off in time. It was actually nice because in the past it has been so windy and it was nice and calm Sunday.
