The Next Karate Kid

Hannah entered her first sparring tournament today at her Karate Center. She was so nervous.



They are getting ready.



Facing her first opponent. She is friends with her. I think that would be weird, but it isn't to them. They did there thing and just went back to talking and giggling together.



In action! She won this round.



Facing her 2nd opponent. She is a year older and a head taller than Hannah. I don't think she is able to hang with her.



She is holding her own.



All done. Whew! glad that is over with.

First place BAby! She was a little bit excited. She had eyed a trophy when we got there and she wanted it bad. They were letting the 1st place winners pick out their own trophy and she got the one she wanted, yea! All of the 1st place trophies belonged to the karate instuctor from when he was a little boy. I thought it was sweet and extra special.
