Sundy evening the family headed out to the lake for a picnic. It was nice and peaceful.

Test
I downloaded freebie frames from Shabby Blogs and wanted to see how they looked on my blog. They a little small but cute for a collage.
I'm hoping the white background doesn't show up and if it does then I'll have to figure out how to get rid of it.
Well it didn't show up because my background is white. DUH!!!!!

Got Scrappy!!!!!
Surprised? Me too!!!! The last page I did was of Colton's first day of high school. School is out next week :)
Picture of Hannah on the first day of school. I inked the masking tape because the tape blended in with the card stock.
Took the easy way out and used an overlay.
I also worked on the "Mysteries of Me" album that I started, well, let's just say it was sometime last year.

Tornadoes ~ 5/10/10 Edition
Photo taken by Mike Proctor
A friend posted on Facebook this morning that today we could have historic tornado outbreaks today. I haven't heard if it's broke records but I bet it's close. The picture above was taken about 6 miles SE of our home. Oy Vey!!!! This is the first time we've had to go to the cellar this year.
Colton was sure to get his popcorn popped. This is after he stuffed 3 hot dogs down his throat when we were trying to get supper done before having to go. We have our priorities straight :)
Brent kept us informed.
And Hannah was suppose to play softball tonight but after school she started throwing up so we decided not to go. Maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Hate that she is sick but if she wasn't we would've been out in this mess.
There is lots of damage across Oklahoma; we were very very very lucky.

She Finally Got To Play Some Ball!!!
Hannah got to play softball yesterday. Finally. This was their first real games. The other teams have been playing for a few weeks so I wasn't expecting much.
They have to wear the batting helmets with the faceguards. I understand why they need to use them but they make for horrible pictures.
I've been used to baseball for 10 years now. Softball on the other hand is a whole new story. Girls are drama. The first team we had to play were mouthing to our girls that they were going to beat us. We told them just to ignore them and just show 'em on the field. And they did. I love it when that happens. Even though this is suppose to be fun; yeah right :)
The second game we lost only by 1 run and was ahead most of the game but it wasn't meant to be.
The third game we played was against an older team and we really weren't expecting them to be able to beat them. We were just thinking it would be a good opportunity to learn and get another game under their belt. But I was wroooonnngggg. They were getting beat 4-0 with our last turn at bat, bottom of the last inning. The girls finally got those bats going and we won. It was so fun and exciting and the girls were so excited.
Hannah did a really good job. She is an athletic girl. She listens and hustles and it's going to be so much fun watching her.

Still Here
We're still around. School is winding down. Baseball was over officially yesterday. They won districts and got to go to regionals but lost both games yesterday. But Summer baseball starts the end of May, OY! Softball games have been rained out, a total of 5 games, another OY! They have a round robin tomorrow just to play some because the Natives are getting restless just practicing.
So just a little update. Exciting ain't it!!!!!
