Baseball Season

Colton starts playing ball next week. He has 3 games the first week and Brent will be in Kansas City so I get to play single mom. So here is to all of the single moms (or dads) out there who have to do it by themselves all of the time. My hat goes off to you.

Bryan and Traci let us in on a great sitcom that has been on for a few years. We just never started watching it. They sent us the first and second seasons of The Office on DVD. The first episode, Michael Scott just made me really nervous but I stuck with it and OMG I'm so glad I did. I love all of the characters. We have decided Brent relates to Angela the most (sorry honey). Dwight is my favorite. After we got back from Vegas, we met up with Lloyd and Darlene to get season 3. We are catching up with season 4 on the internet and now with reruns playing on tv. Can't wait until they come back in April with new episodes.

Happy Birthday Max

Today is our dog Max's birthday. How sweet is it to be born on Valentine's Day? He is 3. We miss his brother Frodo and wish he was here.

Here you go Stephi :)

I did the HENRY EST 1992 with Black vinyl from Provocraft. I was lucky and got the last one at Hobby Lobby. I was so happy on how it cut out. Just follow the instructions. Wish they had white so I could do HANNAH for her room. The next time I'm in Lowe's I'm going to look for it.

This is the sign I made for Hannah's room. I bought the white board at Hobby Lobby for like $6. I used my pink cat's eye to ink around the edges. Then I cut out the letters with my Cricut and used glue to put it on the board.

I'm loving my Cricut more and more everyday.

The Countdown Begins

6 days until Brent and I leave for Vegas. I can't wait. I haven't been in about 5 years so I'm looking so forward to getting away. MeMe (thank you by the way) is coming down to stay with the kids.

Basketball is finally over, thank you very much. Now baseball but games don't start until March. I like to watch Colton play baseball. I love being outside and the beginning signs of spring. I'm not sure if Hannah will play softball this year. She was bored last year. She is ready to run. Don't know where she gets that :).

Speaking of spring, I can't wait. I'm ready to see our new trees bloom out. I'm ready for rain so that our ponds will get water in them. I'm ready for green. I'm ready to plant flowers.

I got some things done yesterday that I wanted to get done. I cut out HENRY EST 1992with my Cricut and put it up in the living room. I hung up things I made for the house. I need to get some pictures or something to hang upstairs in the hallway. The walls look bare. Need to keep an eye out on Hobby Lobby when they put their home decor on sale.

A girl I graduated from HS with little step-niece died this week. She was only 7. And then tonight I found out a boy from a neighboring town died after collapsing at a basketball game. They think it was a heart attack. He was a 7th grader, the same as Colton. It just made me so sad. I can't even imagine what these families are going thru. So I hug my kids a little tighter tonight and the next time they are driving me crazy I will be thankful they are here to drive me crazy.

Caught Up!

These are the last 2 layouts I did yesterday that got me caught up. No more pictures to scrapbook. So I guess I better get busy taking more pictures.
