Vacation Day 1 - Myrtle Beach

This was our first time in South Carolina. We flew into Charleston (much cheaper) and then drove to Myrtle Beach. We stayed at Springmaid Beach Resort. It was a little bit dated but clean and we had a gorgeous view of the ocean.





We also had access to the pier.
















We saw a little boy catch a baby shark and then walking back another person hooked a 6 ft sand shark. We were watching him try to get it started pouring down rain so we headed to our room. We were drenched.

We dried off and decided to go eat at Gordon Biersch Brewery. Brent and I had eaten at one in Atlanta and we enjoyed the food.
It was located in the Market Common area. Cool area, wish Hannah and I had more time to go shopping.

After supper we stopped at a mini golf place. We had to get goofy pictures with the shark of course.



















It was late by the time we got back to hotel and we were worn out after a long day of traveling.

Next up, day 2 at Myrtle Beach.
